I spent four nights here with a room boasting amazing sea views and a cozy outdoor bar, the location was also conveniently close to Ponta Delgada City Gates.

Everything was really good with a nice size and well-equipped rooms. The staff were attentive and assisted us with private parking. A lot of options for breakfast in the restaurant.

Notable hotel with sea views on the ocean and the city and especially helpful staff. Comfy room, large bed and large bathroom. Early check-in and excellent service. Outdoor bar and nice pool.
Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Rich breakfast buffet. Location: 10 minutes walk to the University of the Azores, the marina and restaurants in the old town (highly recommended e.g. Taberna "Acor", Rua dos Mercadores, and 14 minutes by taxi to PDL airport).
No coffee-making facilities in the room. Only salted butter at breakfast.

Very clean, large rooms, plenty of storage space, comfortable beds, attentive reception staff, free parking.
A somewhat dusty interior, dusty furniture with stains on the seat covers. Wooden doors and frames warped. Very spartanly equipped for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast buffet rather empty.

The hotel is located in a perfect spot near a large grocery store. the services provided were excellent. - I appreciated the wheelchair accessible room with panoramic views and a large balcony. - the design of the hotel was nice.

First room wasn't good. Asked at the reception for another room and got one immediately. It's standard hotel procedure. Who does not move has the bad room location :-)

The breakfast was very good and already available from half past seven. Beautiful lobby with seating and bar. The pool was also worth a visit, even if it was very small, but nice to relax in the evening. Towels are available free of charge for the pool. The staff were all very friendly and we got along very well with English!
The faucet in the bathroom sprayed a lot and the double bed unfortunately had only one larg blanket instead of two smaller ones

The service here was excellent, and it was a pleasant surprise to receive complimentary drinks and have access to good wifi during the stay.

good location, within walking distance to the city, large spacious rooms
a little bit less choice at breakfast, almost only white bread, every morning only scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages on offer,

W LAN only in the bathroom. Disgusting toilet from the inside. Letting in bath water takes 30 minutes. Bacon had been in the heat box for an eternity at breakfast.

Loved the place, had a REAL GOOD stay on winter time. I had a standard room which was huge, with a big bed.

Delicious and great affordable breakfast combined with exceptional service. New-fashioned room, really big beds, nice pool. Perfect and decent location in downtown area, close enough to Ponta Delgada as well as many fine restaurants...

The location is very well situated to the city center. And the views from the room are spectacular.
Location. The staff is very attentive, helpful with meeting your needs.
First floor rooms of the hotel seem to get a lot of ants in the room due to the ground floor level and the outside.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
